C-HELP believes that technology should be used in the context of health to ensure the actualization of the right to health.

C-HELP undertakes research, advocacy, and literacy through the examination of law, policy and practice in relation to digital health, and the use of technology in health-related systems and delivery.

C-HELP engages in Research & Advocacy aimed at developing and disseminating knowledge on law and policy issues as they pertain to health. This includes analysing and advising on proposed or extant legislation, policy or practice, convening expert fora, undertaking research projects, and engagement with actors in law, policy and related disciplines.

RESEARCH & ADVOCACY

The National Digital Health Mission aims to improve capacities in the Indian healthcare system, including establishing unique health IDs and digital health records. In order to guide its implementation, the government approved the NDHM: Health Data Management Policy in 2020. We analyse the Policy, and highlight related legal, socio-economic and implementation issues.
